Blogger Beware! The virtual revolution

For those Methodist worthies who still don't understand what is actually happening to our Church I commend the BBC series The Virtual Revolution.

The internet, including blogs, are now leading to changes that are unstoppable.

If countries like China can be changed by the fluency of communication by the web, it is inevitable that our own tiny Connexion will. All the edicts of the various Methodist Church  bodies will do little to prevent that.

Come on lads and lasses, didn't we all sing in the sixties "the times they are a changing"?

David,

Thanks for the recommendation. Somehow I hadn't noticed this series was on! Episode 2 downloading right now on iPlayer; will watch or download Episode 1 later. Something for after church tonight, I hope!

Have a good Sunday.

It has been an interesting series, although I was surprised that they said that 80 to 90% of bloggers have abandoned their blogs which I find hard to believe.

The second episode featured a section on how The Chinese government is trying to resist the power of the internet.

I suppose David it has also given you a voice. A sort of public place to say what you really want. A cyber soap box shall we say.
