and a happy Christmas from the Eden Project!

A few weeks back another Methodist blogger queried an anti "political correctness" youtube video which claimed that staff at the Eden Project in Cornwall had been banned from wishing visitors a happy Christmas because they would mention the name of Christ. Well I sent the Eden Project a short enquiry and have had the following assurance:

Our staff may wish happy Christmas to whoever they wish. We have employees from many varied religions, cultures and backgrounds here, all of whom we embrace and respect. Most of us celebrate Christmas, some ofus don't. We have a staff Christmas party and many of out teams hold their own individual Christmas celebrations.
The Eden culture is inclusive, as an organisation we like to think of ourselves as non religious. By that I mean not belonging to any one denomination, but spiritual.
Thank you for your interest.
Yours sincerely,
Brenda Brett

Why do these self appointed busy bodies - the anti "Political Correct" brigade make these stories up and tell lies on Youutube videos?
