Merry Christmas! Everybody is having fun
Saturday morning is the graveyard of blogging. So just for a little fun I like to dig up a memorable piece of music from the past. Last night I saw Noddy from the Slade on TV reminding us of that all time classic Merry Christmas Everybody released in 1973 (which only seems like yesterday).
When I was the young man about London, Birmingham and Brighton town in the 1970s this is what I danced to for about a month each year. Merry Christmas Everyone! You know, it comes round faster and earlier every year (I first remember someone saying that in about 1952)

"Saturday is the graveyard of blogging." Really? I've told you before that you must be looking at the wrong blogs. I have spent MUCH more time in the blogosphere today than I normally do on other days, because more of my friends have been blogging today. No graveyard in my neck of the blogosphere!
Well Mp I was taken to task for saying a similar thing by Olive - I suspect one of the reasons for this is that while you and I probably check out fairly similar blogs Olive looks at a wider range of them.
Whoever is right I quite like these little forays into the past - keep them coming.
Now that I have checked your list of 'Blogs I follow', I can see why you found a dearth of posts. Only Richard on Connection and I posted today. I suggest you add prize-winning davesdistrictblog, and Maybe2day (especially before you preach tomorrow), seethroughfaith and the-kneeler.
again Olive has come to the rescue and pointed us in the direction of some other blogs we might want to add to the blogs we follow - thank you.
I think I would have to say I am in a similar boat to you MP in that I have a list of blogs I check out as when I started blogging they were all fairly busy and posted at least two or three times a week - sadly some of them hardly blog at all now so perhaps both you and I need to revise our lists and only include the dynamic bloggers who post at least two or three times a week.
I may well be posting a little more now my marking is finished, unless of course I start writing the sequel to my book!
Thanks Olive and Fat Prophet. It's surprising what causes controversy in the blogging world. I'll follow those links.
FP and MP - Yes, I found that my original list of 'Blogs I follow' were not blogging much and I needed to find others or dry up myself. (In case you don't know, Angela of The-kneeler is fighting cancer and so her posts/prayers take on extra focus.)
