Why oh why does any family with teenage children risk playing Monoply on a Bank Holiday?

O deep Joy!!!!!! My wife is the one to worry about when playing monopoly - she plays it as if it is real.
We came close to violence on several occasions as everyone got so involved.
Monopoly is a very destructive game unless the participants can keep it at arm's length. Back in theearly 70s, I helped run a hostel. The decision was made to stop playing the game as it caused too many problems.
